Much like a bus driver that has unruly passengers climb aboard ever single day you have a choice.
If you engage and argue with them then who’s driving the bus?
If you listen to them then you’re not getting to your destination.

Having a ‘Why’ constructed through values is one way that I orient myself on a journey. They, being values, provide a bearing to the direction you want to go. Goals on the other hand are the values in action. They are the waypoints to the journey.

Growth comes out of the cauldron of adversity.
We can not develop resilience, ‘mental toughness’ nor can we refine grit without the uncomfortable immersion in adversity. Sometimes we can choose the challenge. Sometimes the challenge chooses us.
