Highlights.

My Background:

I’ve spent over 20 years as a therapist, working in diverse settings like high schools, hospitals, residential treatment centers, employee assistance programs, and private practice. Since 2016, I’ve focused on athlete mental health and performance.

Years prior I worked as an Instructor and Course Director for Outward Bound in Oregon, California and Colorado helping people build resilience, develop confidence and enhance leadership skills through an immersive experience rock-climbing, mountaineering, backpacking and whitewater rafting.

My athletic passions have diversified over the years from backcountry adventures like rock-climbing, skiing to running and cycling ultra-distances.

I offer counseling via telehealth for Colorado-based athletes aged seventeen and up. For mental performance coaching, I work with clients nationwide. If you’re in the Boulder-Longmont area, I also offer walk-and-talk sessions when it’s convenient.

If you’re interested in my approach

I start where you are. I believe in order to work well together we have to have chemistry. That’s why I offer a free 15-minute consultation. I believe connection is key to develop trust and rapport. I was trained initially in psychodynamic and person centered approaches but will often bring in Acceptance and Committment Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness.

You can reach out through the contact form here to schedule an introductory Zoom call I can often get you in the same week. And I definitely will get back to you.
